This character-driven, noir-inspired game puts players smack dab in the glitz and glamor of the roaring 20s, all while working behind the scenes in the gritty underbelly of organized crime.

Storyline

Set in Chicago during the Prohibition era of the 1920s, Empire of Sin drops the player into the ruthless world of organized crime as an ambitious mob boss vying for control of the city's underworld. Players choose from a cast of bosses, some drawn from real Prohibition-era figures like Al Capone and others original creations, each with their own personal storyline and ambitions. From the shadows they build a criminal empire by running speakeasies, breweries, casinos, and other illicit rackets while recruiting loyal crews and fending off the law. As rival gangs jockey for territory, the boss must decide when to strike deals, extort, or gun down their enemies in a bloody climb to rule Chicago before Prohibition ends.
