The Midnight Walk is a first-person dark fantasy adventure game developed by MoonHood and published by Fast Travel Games. It follows the Burnt One, who travels through a hostile world alongside Potboy, a small lantern creature whose flame is used to illuminate the environment and interact with threats encountered along the journey. The story is structured around five interconnected tales.

Gameplay combines exploration, environmental puzzle-solving, and evasion. Potboy's flame can be used to distract creatures while the player hides from or avoids them. The game's environments and characters were first sculpted in clay, then 3D-scanned and presented in a stop-motion visual style. It can be played in both standard flatscreen mode and VR.

Histoire

Journey with Potboy along the twisted trail of The Midnight Walk. Work with your companion to outsmart monsters, using his flame to distract while you hide from and evade the many threats of The Dark Itself. Encounter new friends and experience awe-inspiring sights as you navigate a path fraught with both peril and affirmation.
