Privacy policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026 (v2)
Krit is a browser game where you collect video game cards. This page explains what data we collect, why, and your rights. We only collect what the game needs to work.
1. Data we collect
- When you log in with Google or Discord: your account identifier at that service, your display name, your email address (if verified) and your profile picture. We never see your password.
- Game data: your player name, cards, boosters, Pixels, opening history, in-game transactions, wishlist, friends and settings.
- Messages: your Lobby messages (public) and your private messages.
- Technical data: IP address and browsing information stored in server logs, for security and anti-cheat purposes.
2. How we use it
This data is only used to create and manage your account, run the game, show your profile to other players (name, avatar and what you choose to show on your profile; you can make it private in Settings), keep the service secure and prevent fraud. Private messages can only be read by the two players in the conversation. If a private message is reported, moderators and administrators can read that conversation, and only that one, to handle the report; every access is logged. Reports and sanctions are kept for moderation follow-up. Data is never sold or used for advertising. The legal basis is the performance of the service you request by creating an account.
3. Sharing
Your data is not shared with anyone except essential technical providers: the hosting company (OVHcloud, servers in France) and Google or Discord when you log in. If a paid subscription is offered later, payments will be handled by a specialised provider and no card data will be stored by Krit.
4. Cookies and local storage
Krit only uses necessary cookies: a session cookie to keep you logged in (30 days) and a language cookie. Your browser may also store your sound preference locally. No advertising cookies or third-party analytics are used.
5. Retention
Account data is kept as long as your account exists and deleted within 30 days after account deletion, unless required by law. Technical logs are kept for 12 months at most.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion (including full account deletion, available directly in Settings), portability, or object to processing. Write to support@krit.games. You can also file a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL, www.cnil.fr).
7. Minors
Krit is available from age 15. Younger players need a parent's consent to create an account.
8. Changes
This policy may change as the game evolves. The date at the top shows the latest version.
